Indiana Jones Rules!

Journal Entry: Fri Jul 11, 2008, 5:27 PM
I love movies as much as I love comics, and just as I have read thousands and thousands of comics, I saw the thousands and thousands of films, of all ages, from all genres. And in the genre of adventure, no doubt the greatest hero of the movies serves as... Indiana Jones! But far from being a perfect hero, Indy is a human hero, with defects, mistakes, people like the people. His adventures filled the lives of many people with emotion and magic, and I am among them. In fact I even admit that I did to me interested in archaeology because of Indiana Jones.
It was already some 10 years that I have not saw any of the movies, until one day I saw in a store a product of dreams for a fan: a DVD box with all three films of the series! Oh, that marvel, but Oh, that misfortune, because when I did not have the money to buy the box. I had to take a lot of patience (one of my qualities, eheheh), and sometimes was even funny: when I had the money to buy the DVDs, I do not found in any store; When I found, I have not had the money to buy. That fate is alternated by some two years, until it finally happened: I could buy the much desired number of films! Now I do not tire of reviewing the Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade, and while I am in fun, also study the techniques of visual narration of these films made in a time when the action walked side by side with a good story.
I still did not see the fourth film to see if he is faithful to the spirit of the series, but I believe that, and certainly it will be in my humble but beloved collection of DVDs. :)

Ps: Oh, and one more reason why I love Indiana is the fact that he has served as inspiration for one of my biggest musas, Milady Lara Croft!

------------------------------------------
